Companion Health Services offers the following products to Medicare part B patients in Long-Term Care Facilities as well as those Medicare part B persons who require the following products in-home.

Urologicals

• Catheters (2 Way) - 1 per month                  
• Catheters (3 Way) - 1 per month                    
• Catheter Insertion Trays - 1 per month            
• Drainage Bags - 2 per month
• Vinyl Leg Bags - 2 per month if ambulatory or in wheel chair
• External Male Catheter- 35 per month
• Urethral Catheter Tray - 6 per day as prescribed with documentation
• Adhesive Anchoring Device - 3 per week

Ostomy

• Appliance Cleanser - 16 ounces per month
• Closed Pouch - 60 per month
• Drainable Pouch - 20 per month

Tracheostomy

• Trach Care Kit - 1 per day
• Disposable Inner Canula - 1 per day

Enteral Feeding

The patient must have a condition involving the gastrointestinal tract somewhere between the mouth and duodenum inclusive, which prevents adequate ingestion. This condition could be either anatomic (obstruction to head or neck, cancer or reconstructive surgery) or due to a mobility disorder (e.g. severe dysphagia following a stroke). Enteral nutrition is not covered for patients with a normally functioning gastrointestinal tract whose need for enteral nutrition is due to lack of appetite or a cognitive problem.

• Nasal Gastric Tube - 1 per month
• Gastrostomy Tube - 1 every 3 month
• Syringes (Piston/Bulb) - 1 per day
• Feeding Bag for Pump or Gravity - 1 per day
• Feeding Pumps - as needed
• All Nutrient Products Available - as prescribed

Orthotics

All items must be prescribed with documentation.

• Therapeutic Foot & Leg Orthotic System
• Hand Splint
• Knee Orthosis
• Elbow Orthosis
• Shoulder/Elbow/Wrist/Hand Orthosis

Diabetic/Therapeutic Shoes

• Diabetic Shoes - 1 pair per year
• Diabetic Shoe Inserts - 3 pairs per year

Wound Care

• Wound Care Supplies - per Doctor's Orders and Medicare Coverage
